| 背景 | Mouse FGF-21 is a 20 kDa, secreted, nonglycosylated polypeptide that isa member of the FGF family. It is synthesized as a 210 amino acid (aa)precursor that contains a 28 aa signal sequence and a 182 aa matureregion. Mature mouse FGF-21 shares 81%, 80%, 79% and 92% aa sequenceidentity with human, bovine, canine and rat FGF-21, respectively.FGF-21 seems to be produced by the liver and exhibits uniqueantidiabetogenic effects in fat. |
