背景 | LMO2, also known as Rhombotin-2 and T-cell translocation protein-2, is a transcriptional cofactor that is required for hematopoietic and endothelial development. It contains two LIM domains that are characterized by a zinc-binding, cysteine-rich motif consisting of two tandemly repeated zinc fingers. LMO2 does not interact directly with DNA but is involved in the assembly of multiprotein transcription factor complexes. Human and mouse LMO2 share 99% amino acid sequence identity. |

LMO2 in K562 Human Cell Line. LMO2 was detected in immersion fixed K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line using Goat Anti-Human LMO2 Biotinylated Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # BAF2726) at 5 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Streptavidin (red; Catalog # NL999) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to nuclei.
