Detection of Human Niemann-Pick Type C2/NPC2 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of NTera‑2 human testicular embryonic carcinoma cell line, human kidney (cortex) tissue, HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line, and human skeletal muscle tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 1:1000 dilution of Rabbit Anti-Human Niemann-Pick Type C2/NPC2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF8644) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF008). A specific band was detected for Niemann-Pick Type C2/NPC2 at approximately 18 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1. | |
Niemann-Pick Type C2/NPC2 in SK-Hep-1 Human Cell Line. Niemann-Pick Type C2/NPC2 was detected in immersion fixed SK-Hep-1 human liver adenocarcinoma cell line using Rabbit Anti-Human Niemann-Pick Type C2/NPC2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF8644) at 1:150 dilution for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL004) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Niemann-Pick Type C2/NPC2 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human kidney using Rabbit Anti-Human Niemann-Pick Type C2/NPC2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF8644) at 1:50 dilution overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Rabbit HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS005) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).
