背景 | Mouse TSC22 is an intracellular 18 kDa (143 aa) protein that belongs tothe TSC22/Dip/Bun family of leucine zipper transcription regulators.Family members share a highly conserved central TSC box-leucine zipperdomain that is important for dimerization and distinct N- and C-terminithat participate in transcriptional regulation. TSC22 can homodimerizeor heterodimerize with other family members to function as a repressivetranscription factor. Mouse TSC22 shares 100% and 98.5% amino acidsequence homology with rat and human TSC22, respectively. |
