PKC theta plays a critical role in several aspects of T cell biology. PKC theta knock out mice develop autoimmune disease. PKC theta functions through the activation of NFkB and AP1 transcription factors. |

Detection of Human PKC theta by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, LNCaP human prostate cancer cell line, and U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human/Mouse PKC theta Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4368) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). Detection of Human PKC theta by Simple WesternTM. Simple Western lane view shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for PKC theta at approximately 82 kDa (as indicated) using 50 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-Human/Mouse PKC theta Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4368) followed by 1:50 dilution of HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016).
