| 背景 | RARRES1 (retinoic acid receptor responder 1; also Tig1) is a member of the protease inhibitor I47 family of proteins. It is expressed in epithelium, including keratinocytes, plus prostate and breast epithelium. It is considered to be a tumor-suppressor molecule, presumably acting as an inhibitor of carboxypeptidase A. Human RARRES1 is 294 amino acids (aa) in length. It is a type II transmembrane (TM) protein with a TM segment between aa 21-42. Three potential splice variants exist. There is a 46 aa N terminal extension, a four aa substitution for aa 225-294 and a combination of these two variants. Over aa 43-294, human RARRES1 shares 75% aa identity with mouse RARRES1. |

Detection of Human RARRES1 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of human heart tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human RARRES1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4255) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF019). A specific band was detected for RARRES1 at approximately 40 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8. |
