背景 | ZNF206 (zinc finger protein 206; also ZFP206) is an 80 kDa SCAN-zinc finger transcription factor that is active in embryonic stem cells and appears to positively regulate transcriptional regulators that maintain stem cell pluripotency. Human ZNF206 is 725 amino acids in length. It contains one SCAN box (aa 1‑71) that mediates oligomerization, followed by a proline-rich region (aa 104‑175) and 14 consecutive C2H2-type zinc fingers (aa 292‑719). Mouse ZNF206 apparently has multiple isoforms, none of which are well characterized. The human gene may also show alternate splicing. Human ZNF206 is 72% aa identical to mouse ZNF206. |

ZNF206 in BG01V Human Embryonic Stem Cells. ZNF206 was detected in immersion fixed BG01V human embryonic stem cells using Goat Anti-Human ZNF206 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4020) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL001) and counterstained with tubulin (green). Specific staining was localized to nuclei.
