Detection of Human, Mouse, and Rat IRS1 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line, HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line, C2C12 mouse myoblast cell line, and PC-12 rat adrenal pheochromocytoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat IRS1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3978) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017). A specific band was detected for IRS1 at approximately 170 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1. | |
IRS1 in Human Liver Cancer Tissue. IRS1 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human liver cancer tissue using Goat Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat IRS1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3978) at 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS008) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.
