| 背景 | Serum Amyloid A4 (SAA4) is a constitutively expressed SAA protein that is also known as C-SAA. It is an apolipoprotein that constitutes more than 90% of SAA on HDL during homeostasis, and may be involved in lipid transfer between lipoprotein classes. Mature human SAA4 contains 112 amino acid (aa) residues. It is primarily produced in hepatocytes and secreted plasma. In solution, SAA4 is reported to form stable dimers and trimers. Human and mouse SAA4 share 57% aa sequence identity. |

Serum Amyloid A4 in Human Liver. Serum Amyloid A4 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human liver using 15 µg/mL Goat Anti-Human Serum Amyloid A4 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3856) overnight at4 °C. Before incubation with the primary antibody tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # CTS013). Tissue was stained with the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS008) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).
