| 背景 | NOMO, also known as pM5, is a 130 kDa type I membrane protein with norecognizable functional motif. It is a binding partner of Nicalin, anicastin-related protein. The Nicalin/NOMO complex is localized in theER and functions as an antagonist for Nodal and Activin signaling.Three copies of the NOMO gene, encoding NOMO isoforms 1, 2 and 3 havebeen described. The extracellular domains (ECD) of the isoforms share99% amino acid sequence homology. The ECD of human and mouse NOMO alsoshare 94% amino acid sequence homology. |

Detection of Human NOMO by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of LNCaP human prostate cancer cell line and HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line. PVDF Membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human NOMO Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3755) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF019). A specific band was detected for NOMO at approximately 130 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8. |
