| 背景 | LINGO-2, also known as Leucine-rich repeat neuronal 6C (LRRN6C), is atype I transmembrane protein in the neuronal leucine-rich repeatfamily. These proteins have a signal peptide, 12 extracellularleucine-rich repeats flanked by N-terminal and C-terminal cysteine-richsequences, an immunoglobulin-like domain, a transmembrane domain and ashort cytoplasmic tail. Human LINGO-2 is a 606 amino acid protein withunknown functions. It is highly conserved, sharing 99% and 98% aasequence identity with canine and mouse LINGO-2, respectively. |
