背景 | NgR2, also known as reticulon 4 receptor-like 2 and NgR2, is a 60 kDaglycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein that is expressedprimarily in the brain. It contains eight leucine-rich repeats that areflanked by cysteine-rich sequences at both the N- as well as theC-terminus. Membrane-anchored NgR2 can be solubilized through theaction of phospholipase or an unidentified MT-MMP to generate a 46 kDasoluble receptor. Mature human NgR2 shares 48% aa sequence identitywith human NgRH2. It also shares 96% aa sequence identity with mouseand rat mature NgR2. |
