| 背景 | Kirrel2, also known as nephrin-like 3, nephrin-like gene 1 and filtrin,is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the immunoglobulinsuperfamily. By alternative splicing, at least 5 isoforms that differin their extracellular and/or intracellular regions have beendescribed. Kirrel2 is expressed in the pancreas, lymph nodes, kidneyglomerulus, as well as brain. The extracellular domains of human andmouse Kirrel2 share 86% amino acid sequence identity. |
