R&D Systems personnel manually curate a database that contains references using R&D Systems products. The data collected includes not only links to publications in PubMed, but also provides information about sample types, species, and experimental conditions. 背景 | The O-6-methylguanine-DNA-methyl transferase (MGMT) is involved in the direct repair of DNA alkylated at the O6 position of guanine. MGMT transfers the alkyl group to its own cysteine thereby inactivating the MGMT molecule. Therefore, the number of MGMT molecules correlates directly with the cell’s ability to withstand DNA alkylation. |

Detection of Mouse MGMT by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of Balb/3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Mouse MGMT Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3299) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF005). A specific band was detected for MGMT at approximately 23 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1. |
