背景 | PTPRZ, also known as Protein tyrosine phosphatase beta/zeta (PTP beta / zeta ), is a member of the receptor-type protein-tyrosine phosphatase family. This phosphatase is involved in the regulation of specific developmental processes in the central nervous system. A protein of 2,307 amino acids, PTPRZ is membrane-spanning with two cytoplasmic protein tyrosine phosphatase domains and an extracellular domain. |

PTP beta / zeta /PTPRZ in Human Brain. PTP beta / zeta /PTPRZ was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human brain (cortex) using Rat Anti-Human PTP beta / zeta /PTPRZ Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB26881) at 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Rat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS017) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to neuronal cell bodies.
