| 背景 | NgR,also named reticulon 4 receptor, is a glycosylphosphoinositol (GPI)-anchored proteinthat belongs to the family of leucine-rich repeat proteins. NgR plays an essential role inmediating axon growth inhibition induced by the myelin-derived proteins Nogo, myelinassociatedglycoprotein (MAG), and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (Omgp). Uponligand binding, NgR associates with and activates the p75 neurotrophin receptor(p75NTR), a tumor necrosis factor superfamily member (TNFRSF16). |
