| 背景 | HGF Activator Inhibitor type II (HAI-2), also known as placental bikunin, is a Kunitz-type protease inhibitor. It is a type I membrane protein containing 2 Kunitz inhibitor domains in its extracellular region. In mouse, at least three isoforms of HAI-2 exist as a result of alternative splicing. Isoforms 2 and 3, also known as HAI-2B and HAI-2C, respectively, are both missing the first amino-terminal Kunitz inhibitor domain. |
