| 描述 | Clone REA270 recognizes the Phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome Ten (PTEN) antigen, regardless of phosphorylation status. PTEN is a tumor suppressor gene which is also known as Mutated in multiple advanced cancers 1 (MMAC1) or TGF-b-regulated and epithelial cell-enriched phosphatase (TEP-1). It has been found to be defective in a large number of human cancers like glioblastoma, breast and prostate cancers. In addition, germ-line mutations in PTEN result in the dominantly inherited disease Cowden syndrome. PTEN functions as a negative regulator of the phosphoinositide 3-kinase signaling pathway which has crucial roles in cell proliferation, survival, differentiation and migration. The protein encoded by PTEN is a phosphatase that preferentially dephosphorylates phosphoinositide substrates.Additional information: Clone REA270 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
