CD41 associates with CD61 to form the heterodimeric gpIIb/gpIIIa complex that is present on human megakaryocytes and platelets. The CD41/CD61 complex is a receptor for fibronectin, fibrinogen, plasminogen, prothrombin, thrombospondin and vitronectin and mediates platelets aggregation.Additional information: Clone REA336 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
