| 描述 | The 307707 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to CD101 which is also known as Igsf2 (Immunoglobulin superfamily member 2). CD101 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the EWI (sharing a conserved glutamine-tryptophan-isoleucine motif) family within the Ig superfamily. CD101 is expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells, Langerhans cells and activated T cells. CD101 reportedly plays a role in the regulation of T cell activation. CD101 was found to be expressed on a subset of CD25+Foxp3+ T regulatory cells that showed higher suppressive properties in vitro and in vivo. Polymorphisms in Cd101 are associated with type I diabetes susceptibility. |
