| 描述 | PA-457 is a first-in-class inhibitor of HIV-1 maturation, blocking the cleavage of the Gag capsid (CA) precursor, CA-SPI, to mature CA protein during virion maturation.1,2,3 Specific inhibition of this final rate-limiting step in Gag processing results in the production of immature, non-infectious virus particles.1 PA-457 reduced viral load in HIV-infected adults in a dose-dependent fashion, when given in a single oral dose in a clinical study.2 It is inactive against HIV-2 or Simian immunodeficiency virus.3 |
