| 描述 | Tolvaptan is a selective, nonpeptide vasopressin V2 receptor antagonist (IC50 = 3 nM for rat V2 receptor) that has been shown to induce hypotonic diuresis without affecting the excretion of electrolytes in both animal and clinical models.1,2 It is 29-fold more selective for the V2 receptor over V1a(IC50 = 0.58 µM for rat V1areceptor).1 Tolvaptan has also been shown to inhibit the development of polycystic kidney disease and has been shown to improve heart failure in several different animal models.2 |
