背景	Semaphorin 3D(Sema3D) is a member of the semaphorin family that plays a role in neuronal andvascular development (1, 2). Class 3 semaphorinsare secreted molecules, and contain a common domain structure. The mouse Sema3D domains consist of a 488 aaSema domain, a 53 aa plexin-semaphorin-integrin (PSI) domain, an 89 aa Ig-likeC2-type domain, and a 35 aa basic domain which is proteolytically processed (3, 4). Within these domains, mouse Sema3Dshares 94% and 98% aa sequence identity with human and rat Sema3D,respectively. Semaphorin3D is a secreted guidance molecule involved in angiogenesis and neuronaldevelopment (5). It induces the collapse and paralysis of neuronalgrowth cones and promotes fasciculation of axons (6, 7). Sema3D also inhibitsendothelial cell motility and tubulogenesis through cytoskeletal reorganization(2). Binding to Neuropilin-I is required for Sema3D signaling (8). ErbB2 was shown to be a potential Sema3Dco-receptor, which is phosphorylated in response to Sema3D in HUVEC cells (8). Semaphorin 3D inhibition of vasculardevelopment facilitates inhibition of glioblastoma growth in the cortex of thebrain (1).

不含载体	What does CF mean? CF stands for Carrier Free (CF). We typically add Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as a carrier protein to our recombinant proteins. Adding a carrier protein enhances protein stability, increases shelf-life, and allows the recombinant protein to be stored at a more dilute concentration. The carrier free version does not contain BSA. What formulation is right for me? In general, we advise purchasing the recombinant protein with BSA for use in cell or tissue culture, or as an ELISA standard. In contrast, the carrier free protein is recommended for applications, in which the presence of BSA could interfere.
