Each cell line contains a human regulatory element that has been cloned into a LightSwitch reporter vector and validated for use in measuring the activity of a specific biological pathway. Because they can be used in a variety of different plate-based formats, the Pathway Reporter Stable Cell Lines are ideal for both primary and secondary high-throughput screening. If we dont have the stable cell line you need, Custom Services are available for creating custom stable cell lines, as well as for conducting screening services. Active Motif also offers LightSwitch Validated Pathway Collections, which are sets of promoter reporter constructs that showed significant activation or repression in response to various pathway-specific induction conditions. IMPORTANT: Because all LightSwitch reporter constructs contain the optimized RenSP luciferase gene, you MUST use our LightSwitch Luciferase Assay Reagents to obtain optimal results.
