| 背景 | USF1(Upstream transcription factor 1) is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper family, and can function as a cellular transcription factor that binds to symmetrical DNA sequence (E-boxes) (5′-CACGTG-3′) that are found in a variety of viral and cellular promoters. The USF1 gene has been linked to familial combined hyperlipidemia(FCHL). Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. |
