| 背景 | N-Myc (MYCN) is a member of the Myc family of proto-oncogenes. Myc family members play crucial roles in regulating cell proliferation, size and differentiation. N-Myc is required for proper development of the nervous system. Myc family proteins can induce malignant transformation inappropriately modulating gene transcription, leading to unchecked cell proliferation. Misexpression of N-Myc is often associated with pediatric neural cancers such as neuroblastoma, medulloblastoma and retinoblastoma. |
