| 背景 | CDT1(chromatin licensing and DNA replication factor 1) is a key licensing factor which functions to allow DNA replication. It is recruited (along with CDC6) by the ORC (Origin Recognition Complex) to sites of DNA replication and helps form the pre-replicative complex (pre-RC). Its activity during the cell cycle is regulated by its association with the Geminin protein geminin, which both inhibits CDT1 activity during S phase in order to prevent unregulated DNA replication and also to inhibit CDT1 proteolysis. |
